Special Closing Night Event – In Person!

Good news! Outdoor film screenings return to the PROXY walk-in theater this Friday, May 28, with Select Shorts, a program of six short films spanning the hilarious to the heart-wrenching. This free, special event marks the close of the PROXY Spring Series, which has run online each Friday over the last month. (Check out the first four programs at PROXYsf.net.) In the heart of Hayes Valley, under the stars, Select Shorts will highlight works by some of the most innovative short feature directors working in narrative and documentary forms.

How to participate:
Pre-register through Eventbrite then show up early to secure a good spot. We will seat all parties six feet apart, on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 7:30 pm. Be sure to bring a blanket, low camping chairs, and warm layers to keep everyone comfy and cozy.

Per the city’s current health directive for outdoor events, patrons can remove masks when seated in their assigned area. The PROXY team and staff will wear masks when interacting with the public.
